Learning requires collaboration, and in the dispersed environments in which we operate, both online learning and classroom interaction are critical. In this paper, we will discuss how teachers can interact with students online using the Moodle course management system. The various Moodle tools are discussed, informing teachers of how to facilitate effective interaction inside Moodle.
option allows Teachers to add files and activities to the course. It can be found as a link in the Settings block or as a button
at the top right of a course homepage. This option is only available to teachers of the course.
In Turn Editing On mode course files and activities may be added, removed, indented, moved, updated, deleted, hidden, shown.
Editing resources (files)/activities icons:
Create a wide range of questions to get student feedback e.g. on a course or activities. The goals of the Questionnaire module are quite different from those of the Lesson or Quiz modules. With Questionnaire you do not test or assess the student, you gather data.
The Moodle Workshop activity is a peer assessment activity with many many options.
There are five stages:Setup, Submission, Assessment, Grading/evaluation, Close
